Here at Human Appeal we have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Financial Systems Analyst (AFSA) to join our team in Cheadle, Greater Manchester. You will join us for 6 months on a fixed term contract and, in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £24,000 pro/rata.
Human Appeal is a faith-based charity that aims to abolish poverty by providing humanitarian aid, sustainable development programs and championing advocacy for our beneficiaries worldwide.
As an AFSA the successful candidate will provide assistance and support in systems administration and implementation of the global financial system to all Human Appeal Offices worldwide. This includes training and supporting systems users, performing systems configuration and opening balances upload as well as month end and year end close activities.

Key duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Financial System Analyst include:
- Assist in implementation of the global Financial Systems to Human Appeal Offices within schedule and budget
- Support month end and year end close for all Human Appeal Offices within agreed timeline
- Assist in building relevant financial reports for decision making and auditing
- Train and support systems users to resolve issues within the agreed SLA
What we are looking for in our Assistant Financial System Analyst:
- Degree in Accounting or equivalent
- Excellent Excel skills and use of MS Office suit
- Experience using MS Office Suite with excellent skills on using Excel.
- Advanced Excel skills is desirable
- Financial systems experience is desirable
- Experience in NGO/Charity sector is desirable.
- Fluent written and spoken English is essential. Additional languages such as Arabic, Urdu, are desirable

- Safeguarding bright futures for more than 22,000 vulnerable orphans in 9 countries. Our one-to-one sponsorship programme has a built-in school attendance requirement while covering the cost of food, housing, medical care, and learning materials
