What you’ll be doing as a Assistant General Manager:
- Assisting and deputising for the General Manager in day-to-day operations of a successful property
- Coaching and mentoring other Managers, Heads of Department, and Supervisors
- Taking responsibility for revenue, profit, and guest experience targets
- Day to day administration such as scheduling, ordering, and stock control
- Training and developing team members
- Running shifts and ensuring a positive experience for all guests, customers, and team members
- Setting up shifts for successful service and coaching and assisting colleagues on shift
- Ensuring a positive guest experience for all guests whilst maintaining quality and cleanliness standards
- Resolving customer and staff questions, queries, and issues
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and licensing laws, and ensuring that the necessary security is in place
