We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising of six secondary schools and one primary school with over 750 employees and over 5,500 students, based in Dudley, West Midlands.
Since joining Invictus Education Trust, Rufford Primary School has been on a journey of school improvement. We are now looking to recruit an Assistant Headteacher with high aspirations and standards for all stakeholders to continue with the progress made. Our school is proud to have a new SEND unit commissioned through the local authority; our Assistant Headfor Inclusion will have the opportunity to develop and grow this unit as part of their role.

We are looking for an Assistant Head Teacher who:
- Has a proven track record of raising pupil attainment across the primary phase
- Is supportive of Invictus Education Academies values
- Is committed to working closely with other trust senior leaders and their schools
- Has a passion for Inclusion and ensuring all children reach their potential
- Has experience of leading provision for children with SEND across school
- Will empower and inspire staff, promoting effective teaching and learning, developing the school’s ethos and encouraging innovation
- Will optimise the social and emotional development of children so they can become well rounded, caring individuals
- Will build upon good relationships within the school, across our trust, with parents and in the wider community
- Is committed to excellent safeguarding procedures

This role has been assessed as working in regulated activity and is subject to an Enhanced DBS plus Children’s Barred List Check.
