As Management Accountant, your role would be to manage day-to-day accounting functions, integrating finance operations, forecasting and budgeting, handling tax matters, preparing financial reports, and ensuring organisational financial stability.
Successful candidate for the role of Management Accountant would have proven financial management experience, possess industry relevant qualifications (CIMA, AAT, ACCA, ICAS, ACA), be compliance orientated, IT/Accounting Software proficient, analytical with a can-do attitude and committed to professional development. Management Accountantduties and responsibilities:
- Preparing financial reports
- Creating management accounts
- Analysing financial data and developing plans for financial growth
- Monitoring internal controls
- Overseeing and preparing income statements
- Participating in budgeting processes
- Managing financial transactions
- Streamlining accounting functions and operations
- Evaluating and managing risk
- Coordinating audit processes
- Working as part of a team or as an individual on a customer site
- Forming/ developing good relationships with customers/colleagues/contractors and managers
- Responding to and dealing with customer communication by email and telephone in a timely manner
Skills/attributes required by successful candidate for the role of Management Accountant:
- Industry relevant qualifications (CIMA, AAT, ACCA, ICAS, ACA)
- Proven experience in finance management/strategic financial planning
- Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals
- Auditing experience
- Compliance oriented
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Analytical and problem solving with a mature and logical approach
- Strong customer facing skills

Location: Redditch, Worcestershire
Salary: £25,000 p.a. to £35,000 p.a. dependent upon experience and qualifications
Hours: 08:30 - 17:00 / Monday - Friday
