Description
As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will work closely alongside both the Financial Controller and Finance Director, providing financial support to the Accounting & Finance team. Duties will include but are not limited to;
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Analyse financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner
- Contribute to annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Monitor and analyse department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources
- Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance workflow
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements
- Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
Profile
To be considered for this role, you must;
- Be working towards ACCA/CIMA
- Have previous experience within a similar role
- Be proficient in Excel- vlookups, SUMIFs and pivot tables
- Have the ability to work within a fast paced environment
- Possess strong communication skills both verbally and written
