Salary: up to £38,000 (DOE)

Position Overview:

The Assistant Management Accountant position primarily involves aiding the broader team, necessitating a solid grasp of financial transactions. Proficiency in performing bank reconciliations and a self-assured approach to sales invoicing are essential requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the creation of precise and punctual management accounts, accompanied by insightful analysis.
• Aid in thorough variance analysis, explaining discrepancies against budget and forecast.
• Participate in the formulation of forecasts and budgets as necessary.
• Assist in monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Collaborate in the facilitation of the annual external audit.
• Provide on-demand analysis or reconciliations as needed.
• Offer support to the broader finance team across all levels.
• Regularly review and enhance finance processes.
• Maintain accurate and timely bank reconciliations.
• Process invoices for the sales ledger.

Requirements:

• Possession of AAT Advanced Diploma/Level 3 or an equivalent qualification.
• Currently pursuing or intending to enroll in an accountancy qualification program.
• Minimum 1-year experience in sales ledger operations.
• Bank reconciliations (1 years experience)
• Experience in posting journals is desirable.
• Skillful in Excel.
• Familiarity with Sage 200 is advantageous but not mandatory.
