About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a friendly team working from our Eastern region and based at our site in Bedford on a permanent term. The purpose of the role will include;
- Assist with the production of monthly financial statements including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets and cash flows;
- Preparation, support, analysis and submission of sales reporting;
- Processing accruals and prepayments;
- Provide support to the region with journal postings;
- Cash forecasting and monthly payment processing;
- Cash allocation and sales receipt tracking;
- Provide support to the wider team with adhoc projects and analysis, and provide cover where required.
About You
- Holder of a Full UK Driving Licence
- AAT Qualified or studying towards a professional accountancy qualification
- Ability to analyse and interpret financial information
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial management
- Proficient in the use of IT systems, specifically Microsoft Excel.
