The Assistant Management Accountant is a key team member within our Accounting & Finance Department, primarily responsible for maintaining financial records and assisting in the preparation of reports for the public sector.

- Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with organisational standards.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

- Participate in audits and coordinate responses to audit findings.
- Support the team in the delivery of financial projects.

Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in finance, accounting or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent numeracy skills and proficiency in using financial software.
- A keen understanding of financial regulations and legislation within the public sector.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear manner.
Job Offer
- A competitive salary ranging from £27,000 to £33,000 per annum.
