Assistant Management Accountant – Permanent (Sheffield)

Adept Resourcing are currently working with one of Europe’s leading manufacturing business based in the Sheffield area who are looking to add an Assistant Management Accountant to their rapidly growing team to monitor and look after the US and UK divisions.

The successful candidates will be reporting into the Management accountant and will have the opportunity to progress to this role in the near future.

Roles and Responsibilities of Assistant Management Accountant:

• Assisting with the day to day running of the finance department.
• Assisting with month end duties.
• Involvement in continuous improvement projects.
• Assisting with transactional finance duties.
• Learning US division duties.
• Group format cash movements
• Weekly overhead reviews
• USA Bank posting

The ideal candidate:

• Must be looking for long term progression within the business.
• Must be Level 3 AAT qualified.
• Must be self-sufficient.
• A team player
• Must have experience working within a finance function.

This role is a permanent job opportunity for the successful candidate following a successful interview stage. The starting salary is £27,000 with the chance to increase in the future. The working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm. We are open to speaking to candidates of all levels as long as they hold experience within a similar role.
