Knowledge, Training and Experience AAT part-qualified or equivalent, or actively studying towards full AAT qualification, or with significant role experience. Experience in finance preferably in the NHS. Experience of assisting in the production of income and/or expenditure annual budgets and monthly management reports. Experience of spreadsheet, database and computerised ledger applications, preferably Oracle Financials. Knowledge of the NHS financial regime and relevant legislation and guidance. Analytical and Judgemental Skills Able to undertake initial investigation and resolution of expenditure variances within area of responsibility Able to analyse and manipulate large volumes of complex data into meaningful information and produce summaries for review by the Management Accountant Planning and Organisational Skills Able to plan own work to ensure monthly, quarterly and annual deadlines are met Ability to work accurately to tight deadlines Communication and Interpersonal Skills Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with finance and non-finance staff. Flexibility to work within the Divisional team or across the teams as required Physical skills Good keyboard skills required
