Assistant Management Accountant

£28,500 - £31,250 + bonus

The Role

The Assistant Management Accountant is a key role at the heart of our Group Finance Function. You will support in key activities, including the production of monthly accounts, variance analysis and presenting data to senior management. Day-to-day, you’ll be making an impact by:

• Assisting month end management accounts.
• Completing invoice reconciliations between systems.
• Processing group overhead supplier invoices daily.
• Reconciling supplier statements, and deal with supplier queries.
• Processing monthly payment runs for all suppliers.
• Managing daily cash payments.
• Completing and resolving issues within balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assisting with the annual budget process.
• Variance analysis.
• Producing and analysing any ad hoc reporting requested by the business.

We are looking for:

• Demonstrable experience within a similar accounting & finance position.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders of all levels.
• Ability to analyse and interpret information.
• Ability to prioritise.
• Ability to think strategically, problem solve, exercise good judgement and lead change.
• Collaborative work style and commitment.
• Proficient IT skills; Windows applications - Outlook, Excel and Word.
