SalaryOur client is a dynamic and thriving business based in Bristol, committed to delivering excellence in its field. We are seeking a skilled and motivated temporary Assistant Management Accountant to join its finance team.
As Assistant Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department. This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of a leading organisation.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant will include:
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Conducting financial analysis and providing insights to management.
- Responsible for the month-end close process and delivery of monthly and quarterly P&Ls for specified portfolios.
- Perform P&L reviews with the portfolio’s operations team and Finance Business Partners to support their understanding of financial performance, empowering them to deliver insightful analysis to investors.
- Preparation and completion of full and accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
- Providing support to other departments with any other tasks as required
The successful Assistant Management Accountant:
- Part qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or AAT qualified.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities.
