This will be a fast paced varied role with a key focus on timely accurate month end closes.

Our Property and Housing Client based in Luton, are at the forefront of providing housing solutions to local authorities nationwide. As a growing business, they are seeking talented and self-sufficient Assistant Management Accountant to join our team. This role offers the unique opportunity to work closely with Finance Directors, playing a key role in supporting our exponential growth.

Responsibilities:

- Preparation of Month End Management Accounts

- Compilation of Management Accounts Pack

- Reviews with FD, Ops & SLT

- Handling Inter-company Sales and Recharges within the Group

- Banking and Treasury management

- Weekly Payment Run oversight

- Line Management of two Accounts Assistants

- Bookkeeping for Investment companies

- Annual Budget preparation with FD support

- Company Card transaction reviews

- Daily & Weekly Occupancy reporting

- Managing and overseeing property On-boarding, Standing Orders, Rent Statements

- Collaborative process improvement with SLT

- Support FD with Scale up Growth project

- Other Ad Hoc duties as required

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years Financial experience

- Proven success in a financial setting

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Managerial Line Manager or Team leader experience desirable

- multitasking, and decision-making skills

- Metrics-driven finance mind with an eye for creativity and efficiency

- Experience with automation desirable
