Think Accountancy and Finance is working with a growing client based in the Luton area, they are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their busy team.

The ideal candidate would have 2 or more years' experience in an Accounts Assistant role, already studying AAT, ACCA, or CIMA. Strong numerical, IT, Excel and Microsoft Office skills are essential, SAGE experience is also beneficial.
This person should be an excellent team player, a great communicator, willing to be accountable for their work, happy to complete tasks in a timely manner under specific time scales.
Office hours are 9am to 5pm or 8:30am to 4:30pm.
With the potential to work from home 1 day a week after full training.
Provided study support is also an option.
Roles and responsibilities
- Manage the ledgers for 3 companies.
- Processing around 70 - 100 Invoices daily.
- Monthly review of ledgers.
- Ensure credit balances are closed, aged, and reconciled.
- Monthly reconciliation.
- Prepare payment lists.
- Intercompany journals.
- Preparing weekly payroll.
- Prepare and submit returns.
- Process and issue monthly sales invoices.
- Resolve queries, manage office calls.
