Assistant Management Accoutnant

IN2Consult / Assistant MA / up to £40,000 pa / Soho / Hybrid working

IN2Consult are working with a developing IT company who are on the lookout for a Management Accountant to join their team. This is a permanent opportunity paying up to £40,000 pa for the right candidate. They also offer two days of remote working per week. Please see below the responsibilities & beneficial skills -

Responsibilities 

• Adhere to the month-end timetable published by the Financial Controller.
• Prepare and post prepayment journals.
• Update the fixed and intangible asset register and post-depreciation.
• Work with the Financial Controller to deliver the monthly management accounts.
• Partner with managers regarding their department's financial information.
• Perform WIP calculation for professional services projects and work with the PMO to report on monthly revenue recognition.
• Reconcile the bank, including our invoice financing facility accounts.
• Reconcile other allocated balance sheet accounts.
• Input the adjustment journals as required, including time reallocation, commission, and bonus accruals.
• Reconcile billing in our CRM to the Accounting System.
• Prepare reports, including creating the aged debtors report for the monthly accounts, weekly time booking reports, monthly salary reports.
• Document processes and ensure that they are kept up-to-date.
• Prepare monthly payroll for processing by the outsourced payroll bureau.
• Collate information from managers and HR for payroll processing.
• Administer employee benefits schemes and the company pension scheme.
• Document processes and ensure that they are kept up-to-date.
• Assisting with AR & AP procedures. 

Beneficial Skills 

• Part qualified.
• Excellent ability to communicate.
• Payroll & transactional experience beneficial.
• Good MS Excel skills.
• Sage experience very valuable.
