A little about us… We are Smart Ideas. We are a family run independent card and gift retailer. We have 6 shops located throughout the West Midlands and one in Banbury. We’ve been in business since 1978 and continue to grow and excel at what we do! We sell everything from well known brands such as Yankee Candles to Jellycat, from collectables to jewellery, handbags to scarves and many cards plus much more! We have an exciting opportunity for a customer focused Assistant Manager to join our Telford team.

Ideally you will be… friendly, hard-working, an enthusiastic person with an artistic flair for displays. Alongside this you will ideally have… previous experience in retail and excellent interpersonal skills. Have the ability to multi-task and hit deadlines. And most importantly have a passion for the products we sell!

What would your typical day be like you ask? Well read on to find out! You will assist the store management team in daily tasks to keep the store running smoothly, efficiently and effectively. You will be providing excellent and outstanding customer service to every individual who visits our store looking for that special gift whether that be at the tills or out on the shop floor. Alongside this you will get involved in merchandising around the store in one of our many departments and helping maintain the store with general cleaning.

The successful candidate for this role will be required to work weekdays and weekends.
