The Debit Card Fraud Analytics team is responsible for the monitoring, detection, and prevention of Debit Card fraud. This is delivered through insight and analysis with prevention strategies developed and managed in rules-based fraud systems.
As Assistant Manager - Debit Card Analytics, you'll need to:
- Reporting to the Analytics Manager, you'll be responsible for data led analysis of emerging fraud attacks with clear recommendations and actions to mitigate fraud risk while managing fraud risk and customer impact.
- You'll manage the design, testing, implementation, and monitoring of live rule strategies to ensure they remain fit for purpose, are effectively prioritised and add clear value.
- You'll need to resiliently manage different priorities and work collaboratively with your team and our partners to ensure the evolving fraud attacks are quickly identified and mitigated.
- A key focus of the secondment will be assisting with the migration of the current Debit Card fraud system (and data infrastructure) to a new platform and data infrastructure.
What you'll need
- Cards Fraud Knowledge is crucial, including the management of fraud via a rules-based fraud detection system (Falcon/Outseer/Feedzai)
- Experience of working within a fraud / risk functions where you have used large data sets to produce insightful analytics, recommendation, and rule development to prevent fraud.
- You'll be an experienced data coder (SAS/SQL) and confident in manipulating large data sets to drive insight, recommendations, and change.
- Transformation experience - proven track record of being part of a successful card system migration.
This is a hybrid role that will require frequent in-person collaboration within our Leeds or Edinburgh Hub.
