About this opportunity
An exciting Assistant Manager level opportunity has become available in our Debt Investor Relations team in Treasury. This is a great opening for an enthusiastic individual wishing to start their career in markets and looking to join a diverse team, in a fast-paced environment, with a huge scope of opportunities to learn.
The team sits in the broader Capital and Term Issuance team in Treasury. As a team, they own the Group's capital markets activity and capital planning activity, Debt Investor Relations and credit rating agency engagement, LBG Holding Company and LBG Equity Investments treasury activities, recovery and resolution, as well as certain transaction management activity to support secured, unsecured, and money market funding.
The successful candidate will get the opportunity to support in the delivery of our objectives, benefit from the support of more senior members of the team and the opportunity for personal development and career progression within Treasury or the wider Group.
Day to day you'll be;
- Building knowledge of key debt IR topics, the banking/financial services industry including other UK banks, and the regulatory environment in which the Group operates.
- Building knowledge of Treasury activities and building a network in GCT and beyond.
- Supporting the collation and production of high quality and insightful MI for a variety of senior stakeholders including the Group Corporate Treasurer and the Group Chief Executive.
- Supporting the Debt Investor Relations processes, notably:
- Production of fixed income investor presentations and documents.
- Engagement with the Group's global Debt Investors and coordinating Debt Investor engagement.
- Getting involved in projects with the broader Capital and Term issuance team

What you'll need
- Bachelors Degree
- Experience of working in a Treasury function within a fast paced organisation
- Excellent attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn and curiosity about financial markets and investor perspectives
And Any experience of these would be really useful
- Ability to prioritise your workload and adapt to challenges as they present themselves
- Experience using Powerpoint and Excel
- Written and verbal presentation skills
