A chartered Accountancy firm with offices across East Anglia are seeking an Audit and Accounts Manager. The role will be based in Bury St Edmunds, but the firm is open to hybrid working or remote working, with circa 35-40 days per year in the office. You will be qualified ACCA/ACA with at least 2 years post-qualified experience, but the role is also open to more recently qualified individuals if the skills are matched.
You will be an excellent communicator, be able to work independently and within a team effectively and demonstrate excellent attention to detail. You will be self motivated, driven and have the ability to work well under pressure whilst leading a team.
Audit experience is essential. You will be responsible for managing audit, accounts preparation and tax compliance services for a range of businesses, approximately 60:40 audit and non-audit work. You will have experience managing corporate work with turnover levels £5-25m and upwards and be comfortable with all stages of the audit process. You will also have experience in managing, mentoring and coaching junior members of staff.
Salary/remuneration package on offer will be at market rates in line with knowledge and experience.
