I am working with a dynamic and progressive client who are going through a period of growth. They are seeking to recruit an Assistant Manager - Pensions to join their team and can be based in any of their UK locations.
My client provides trustees, companies and individuals with advice across a range of areas within the business including Actuarial and Consulting Services, Pensions Administration, Investment Advisory, Wealth Management and Reward & Benefits.
The Assistant Manager - Pensions will get the opportunity to be involved in a variety of projects/propositions including:
- Provide support to both corporate and trustee clients
- Check work of junior team members
- Act as lead on certain projects
- Consistently monitor all aspects of risk compliance
- Attend and present at client meetings
- Be commercially astute and be able to identify new opportunities
The successful Assistant Manager will need to following skills/experience:
- Newly qualified or nearly qualified status
- Ability to manage small projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Mentor and train junior members of the team
- Strong understanding of the UK Pensions Market
- Strong knowledge of UK Pensions Legislation
- Commercial astute
- Strong IT skills in particular, Microsoft Excel
