The purpose of the Associate Marketing & Business Development Manager - Audit Growth Markets is to support responsible growth in audit through the development and oversight of initiatives across our key growth areas.
Currently working as an Executive or Assistant Manager, you will have proven experience in similar role, ideally in professional services, and a professional qualification or demonstrable commitment to ongoing learning. You will be able to show how you have built knowledge of specific markets and developed relevant tactics to support strategy and growth.
We are looking for someone who is a very strong communicator, self-motivated and creative and who is able to prioritise and re-prioritise workload. A strategic thinker, you will 'make things happen' but will be commercial in your approach and will work in a collaborative way with other marketing and Business Development colleagues to implement best practice and campaigns.
Location is flexible but there is a requirement to travel to London on a regular basis, and to other office locations as needed. In this role you'll:
  • Work with Head of Marketing & BD in Audit, the Audit Markets Directorate and the Audit Marketing and BD team to shape and deliver the go to market strategy for identified markets in audit - these will flex over time but will initially include Private Equity and Technology & Media
  • Build strong relationships with audit sector leaders and developing relevant knowledge of our chosen markets, successfully identifying tactics which support growth
  • Work collaboratively with the Audit Marketing, Relationship Development and the wider Sector and GTM team to leverage existing campaigns with a view of driving engagement and ROI in Audit
  • Own and deliver strategic initiatives that support the FY28 Audit Growth Plan
  • Be a conduit between audit stakeholder and national sector and segment leaders and BDMs with a view to understanding and sharing strategic priorities and identifying opportunities to share ideas and collaborate
You'll be someone with:
  • Market understanding and intelligence through strategy and research, converting market needs into commercial go to market campaigns
  • Effective management, control and reporting of marketing budgets
  • Experience in designing appropriate marketing and BD metrics, with relevant formulae to track campaign success and ROI, using CMS and other insights, driving quality improvements.
  • An understanding of ROI and builds target lists based on projected growth and sales
  • Confidence in approaching stakeholders and challenging where necessary
  • Good, broad understanding of digital marketing strategies and tactics such as SEO, content, social media and video/audio.
