Peterborough City Council are looking for someone who is a good administrator. The successful applicant will have great communication skills, be a problem solver with an eye for detail, be a team player and be able to manage competing priorities.
We are seeking a person to work in the Streetworks Team, running financial reports, working with spreadsheets, raising invoices, and assist with the investigation of queries relating to fees. General housekeeping of the data stored within the Confirm and Street Manager systems will also be required.
You’ll be assisting our experienced Permit Fee and FPN Officer whilst learning from them and gaining some detailed background knowledge. Training for bespoke systems will be provided.
From time to time there will be a requirement to support the Permit Officers in dealing with permit applications accurately and efficiently within the agreed timescales. In line with national conditions including highlighting conflicts and granting or refusing permit applications. A good knowledge of the Peterborough road network would be an advantage.
