Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting leading independent town planning consultancy providing high-quality advice and personalised service across the UK. With a strong reputation and dedicated team, we work with clients on developments of all sizes across residential, commercial, leisure, energy, heritage and other key sectors.
Due to business growth, we are recruiting for an Assistant Planner or Planner for the Cambridge office. You will manage and lead projects, provide strategic advice to clients, and support business development initiatives. An up-to-date understanding of regulations along with excellent communication and organisational abilities are essential for this fast-paced role.
Candidate Requirements:
- RTPI accredited degree or a relevant degree
- Relevant Planning experience in either a local authority or consultancy
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time and multiple projects effectively
- Strong communication skills (verbally and in written form)
- Good understanding and knowledge of the planning system
- Commercial awareness
- Competent user of Microsoft 365 products
