Duties will include:
• Maintaining clean, safe and secure college premises, which includes buildings and grounds
• Carrying out cleaning, handyperson activities, routine maintenance and refurbishment, porterage, and minor repairs
• Promoting health and safety around the college and carrying out health and safety checks
• Supervision of and liaison with external contractors and site use
• Complete college holiday decorating and improvement programme
This is an all year round contract and we welcome applications from those with previous caretaking experience but this is not essential. A programme of support and training will be offered to develop your skills and understanding of maintenance and health and safety in a special educational college within a supportive environment.
Applicants who are invited to interview will also be observed completing a practical task.
