Role: Assistant Project Manager

Our client has been established for over 70 years and boasts a headcount north of 1,000 professionals offering a variety of services including project management, cost management, building surveying and planning to their clients across the built environment.
About the role
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be working within a smaller team within the wider project management division in Birmingham. Your team will consist of 10 Project Managers ranging from an associate director (team leader), three senior Project Managers and the rest made up of graduates, assistants, and Project Managers.
With this role you will gain exposure to some great projects! You will be involved with a £30m advanced manufacturing project, a programme of works for a university and re-development of a football stadium.
If you’re currently working your way through your APC and not getting the right support then rest assured that this role will change that. The team leader is a big advocate for personal and professional development hence will make sure you feel right at home.
Requirements
- BSc in project management, building surveying or construction management is beneficial
- Working towards your APC
- Experience within the built environment ideally with a multi-disciplinary/construction consultancy
- Commutable distance to Birmingham
