We know that together we can end it., , This role is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund until 30th September 2024., , Hours: 21 hours per week (0.6 FTE), , Location: Crisis Skylight South Wales, Swansea, , About the role, , This is an exciting time to be joining Crisis Client Services as we work towards our Vision to 'End Homelessness' for more of the members we work with. We are a values driven organisation with members at the heart of what we do. , , We are seeking an Assistant Psychologist to work within client services. Working in a psychologically informed way, you will establish an open, trusting and strengths based professional relationships with members. You will join a team of frontline staff, supported by Clinical and Forensic Psychologists, with a focus on supporting people facing homelessness who have survived a range of difficult and traumatic experiences. , , About you, , We are looking for people who are community focused and driven by shared values. You will look forward to engaging with individuals who have very difficult lives and have struggled to access traditional forms of support. You will assist the qualified Registered Psychologist in the delivery of specific psychological interventions, training, reflective practice, and psychological consultation, and utilise research skills for service evaluation and development. In addition to joining the local team of people who share a commitment to end homelessness, you will be part of a national team of 11 psychologists and psychotherapists led by a lead psychologist., , We want Crisis to be an inclusive employer which then reflects our members and the communities we work in.
