Key Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: Just over one year of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
Technical Proficiency: Strong computer and IT skills, with proficiency in Excel, Xpedeon, Powerpoint, and Word. Previous experience using Foxit Phantom is highly desirable.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of quantity surveying.
Software Knowledge: Proficient in using Sharepoint for efficient project collaboration.
Team Player: Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to ensure project success.
Organization Skills: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Contractual Expertise: Experience in drafting and issuing contractual documents with an understanding of valuation of construction works.
Confidentiality: Experience in handling confidential and sensitive data.
Cost Management: Proficient in cost management principles.
Procurement: Understanding of procurement processes in quantity surveying.
Communication Skills: Confident and personable with excellent communication skills.
Workload Management: Ability to manage demanding workloads effectively.
Commercial Insight: Experience in commercial management within the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
Valuation and Approval: Perform accurate valuation of construction works and seek necessary approvals.
Contractual Document Drafting: Draft and issue contractual documents in accordance with project requirements.
Communication and Collaboration: Maintain effective communication within the team and collaborate with various stakeholders.
Contract Management: Ensure proper management of contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
