Job Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor (Brickwork and Masonry)

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: Just over one year of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong computer and IT skills, with proficiency in Excel, Xpedeon, Powerpoint, and Word. Previous experience using Foxit Phantom is highly desirable.

• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of quantity surveying.

• Software Knowledge: Proficient in using Sharepoint for efficient project collaboration.

• Team Player: Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to ensure project success.

• Organization Skills: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Contractual Expertise: Experience in drafting and issuing contractual documents with an understanding of valuation of construction works.

• Confidentiality: Experience in handling confidential and sensitive data.

• Cost Management: Proficient in cost management principles.

• Procurement: Understanding of procurement processes in quantity surveying.

• Communication Skills: Confident and personable with excellent communication skills.

• Workload Management: Ability to manage demanding workloads effectively.

• Commercial Insight: Experience in commercial management within the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Valuation and Approval: Perform accurate valuation of construction works and seek necessary approvals.

• Contractual Document Drafting: Draft and issue contractual documents in accordance with project requirements.

• Communication and Collaboration: Maintain effective communication within the team and collaborate with various stakeholders.

• Contract Management: Ensure proper management of contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
