A bit about the role
Tayavalla is a short breaks service based in Camelon, Falkirk offering residential short breaks to children and young people with complex health care needs, learning and physical disabilities. We encourage inclusion, ensuring that the children and young people are part of the wider community, through outings and activities we aim to provide a fun and stimulating environments for all our young people.

- Supporting children to achieve positive outcomes for their future
- Providing support to meet Health and Social Care Standards
- Adopting approaches in line with the principles of The Promise
- Maintaining a safe environment for them to enjoy time with their friends
- Giving families the break they need to continue supporting their children.
- Assisting the children in all aspects of their care and supporting their health and wellbeing.
Let's talk about you
- Ideally, a HNC and SVQ 3 in a social care discipline, a qualification in social care, nursing, education, or someone undertaking studies which would meet the SSSC registration requirements.
- Applications from candidates who do not have any qualifications but applicable experience will be considered
- Experience of working with disabled young people.
- The ability to use MS Office to record case notes.
- Excellent communication
