They need an individual to come in and support their students in the classroom. Your role and responsibilities will be as follows:

• Provide support and intervention for the students during lessons
• To work collaboratively with the teaching staff during the planning cycle
• To encourage pupils to become independent learners
• To develop and prepare resources for all learning activities in accordance with lesson plans and students needs.
• Provide feedback to teachers regarding students work and behaviour
• Promote learning and inclusion of all students, especially those with additional needs.
• Make use of strategies and techniques used to help the students
• Reinforce and support the development of the students self-esteem and independence

The successful Teaching Assistant will be:

• Positive and empathetic
• Looking to make a difference and encourage the children
• Interested in taking the next step in your career in education
• Previous experience in the classroom or some experience with children will be advantageous
