Position: Assistant Technical Manager
Responsibilities: As an Assistant Technical Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the provision of a comprehensive Technical service, ensuring adherence to the highest standards for raw materials and suppliers. Your responsibilities will include:
Quality Assurance:
* Maintain and enforce compliance with customer COP's (Codes of Practice).
* Oversee the maintenance and completion of all finished product specifications.
Supplier Management:
* Conduct supplier approval audits to ensure the quality and reliability of the supply chain.
* Foster strong relationships with suppliers and drive continuous improvement in their performance.
Team Leadership:
* Demonstrate strong leadership skills to motivate and guide the team.
* Ensure high-performance levels through effective communication, training, and mentorship.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role within the food and drink industry is essential.
* Previous experience working with BRC is required.
* Familiarity with ambient products is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve excellence.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Commitment to maintaining and improving product quality.
Salary Range: £40,000-£50,000
