Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a highly regarded Planning and Design Consultancy in Derby with the hire of an Assistant Town Planner.
Our client works across multiple sectors with a variety of clients and so projects can fall in the Commercial, Leisure & Tourism, Hotel, Residential, Renewables and Healthcare sectors.
In this role, the appointed Assistant Town Planner will join a well-balanced team and help provide the following services to its clients;
-Planning Advice and other pre-application documentation
-Development, submission and monitoring of planning applications.
-Enforcement
-Appeals
-S106 negotiations
-Public inquiries and hearings
-Strategic planning advice
Requirements to apply
In order to apply to this role, the client would like the Assistant Town Planner to hold an RTPI accredited degree (ideally) or similar, with some post-graduation experience in the field (year in industry or currently employed). You should be a good communicator, hungry to progress in the field of Town Planning and hold a UK driving licence.
Salary / Benefits
