Who You Are / Your Next Challenge
To grow the Financial Institutions Group global customer base with a focus on LATAM. The role will work closely with the Head of International Sales and the Senior VPs to ensure that regional sales targets are met with new financial institution customers.
The successful candidate will be team oriented, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain working relationships both internal and externally. You will be engaging closely with our global teams as well as integration teams to serve as an innovation influencer for our road-map and strategy.
Key Activities:
- Assist the sales team with seeking prospects using databases, websites, directories, and any other means available.
- Source financial institutions which transact in banknotes.
- Identify key decision makers and establish contact in conjunction with other members of the sales team.
- Conduct structured pitches to maximise the new business success rate.
- Facilitate in planning and booking of foreign trips, which are in line with the companies’ expense and travel policy.
- Document the process used to research prospects for example, databases, Websites, directories.
- Maintain records of all clients contact in CRM.
- Produce and maintain client visit reports for management review.
- Detemine whether there is commercially viable banknote trading opportunity with prospective financial institutions.
- Support Senior VPs in positioning Moneycorp’s proposition to best meet the needs of prospect financial institutions.
- Pre-empt and mitigate objections whilst communicating Moneycorp’s benefits to prospective customers.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Demonstrable experience of exceeding sales targets within the financial sector.
- Experience building relationships with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
- Exposure to an international business environment.
- Knowledge of markets, products and services.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory obligations.
- Working within a multichannel pressurised environment.
- Working within a multichannel sales environment (e.g., telephone, email, face to face).
Skills:
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Clear communicator, both written and verbal
- Proficient in EXCEL & Word.
- Strong influencing, persuading, and negotiating skills.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Business proficiency in Spanish.
