SalaryApplicants are sought for the position of tenure-track Professor of Physics. Interested candidates must have a PhD in physics or in a closely related field. Areas of interest include but are not limited to:
•Optics, including laser devices, hyperspectral imagery, adaptive optics, or nonlinear optics
•Photonics and optical materials, including detectors, emitters, fibers and crystals
•Quantum physics, quantum information, or quantum computing
•Physics of solid-state electronics
•Physics of remote sensing, signature analysis, or data exploitation
•Space physics
•High temperature materials physics
The successful applicant will teach and establish funded research in support of our physics program. We offer MS and PhD degrees in physics.
