Associate Architect Job in Birmingham, West Midlands

Associate Architect job is available in Birmingham. This is an opportunity to join an AJ100 practice, in a project and team-leading position, supporting their residential care sector.

The successful candidate will be joining a multidisciplinary company, that currently has over 330 employees over 9 UK-based offices. They are also 100% employee owned and were a leading practice in joining the B-corp community.

Role & Responsibilities

•  Working with the Residential Care director closely along with the business development team and sector experts to develop new and existing relationships to bring in new opportunities
• Lead research in this sector, with the wider team to produce and deliver on long-term objectives
• Managing the workload of projects on teams, giving feedback where necessary about performance and what improvements can be made
• Work with project support and project teams to ensure the financial success of the project, issuing fees and billing clients
• Understanding of frameworks to recognise opportunities for fee recovery.

Required Skills & Experience

• ARB registered, RIBA is desirable
• Previous experience in residential care is desirable but not essential
• Experience in managing teams and delivering large-scale projects
• Ability to manage and lead multiple projects at one time
• Experience working across all RIBA stages but particular experience in delivery stages
• Revit proficiency is essential to the role
• Ability to work collaboratively with a wider team
• 7+ years post part III.
