Role description:

We are looking for experienced Associate Cost Consultants to add to our Property Developer team in London. This role will guide & lead the delivery of cost management for Market Leading Developer Clients’ across commercial office, hospitality & residential projects, accountable for fee revenue of between £5300k - £1 million per annum.

You will be responsible for managing key stakeholder relationships, to include financial performance and commercial negotiations.

You will guide a team, delivering projects within cost, time frame and upholding the highest quality standards supported with your expert technical knowledge and experience in cost consultancy and the assets delivered by developers.

Role accountabilities:

  • Lead, coach and develop the skills and capabilities of team members in order to share knowledge, increase team skill level and improve the standard of service delivery.
  • Create project costings and budgets from clear objectives, managing finances across a project in order to ensure the profit and budgetary targets are met and best value outcomes are achieved.
  • Lead and manage individual cost management assignments from inception to completion, managing teams and resources to ensure delivery standards meet client expectations.
  • Analyse and compile a range of complex data and documents, using knowledge to review and assess analysis and provide recommendations to contribute to project decision-making.
  • Use expert knowledge and experience of industry best practice to support the development of current cost and commercial management systems and processes.
  • Work to improve services and drive innovation to increase team contribution to project delivery.
  • Manage relationships with customers in order to identify opportunities to improve the cost management offering and deliver customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a key technical resource within the field of cost/commercial management, providing technical advice and solutions to internal colleagues in order to support successful project delivery across a range of projects.
  • Build valued relationships with senior clients and stakeholders, in order to ensure client satisfaction, develop the cost management service and create new business opportunities.
  • Support and lead bids and sales with existing clients.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • We’d love you to have a relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the commercial field as well as being a Chartered member of RICS.
  • Have experience in a similar Consultancy working on projects with developers , including delivering medium/large projects across an entire project life cycle
  • Relevant cost and commercial management experience.
  • Experience of managing people, and leadership skills including the ability to motivate others
  • Experience in building and managing client relationships at senior-management level, including the ability to act as a trusted advisor
