Bid Director
Central London
12 Month Contract
£70k – £80k

Exciting opportunity for a seasoned bid /capture professional to step in for 12 months and take the helm. Responsible for bid strategy, ensuring effective implementation of industry-leading bids, pitches and proposals, including associated digital and video editorial, in support of business plan targets and aspirations. This role leads on the delivery of bids and proposals, following bid process, to deliver high quality and accurate tender responses in line with the company’s brand, position and processes.

You:
• Exemplary capture and bid delivery competence, with demonstrable experience in delivering high-quality, persuasive proposals and presentations.
• Significant line management and talent development experience.
• Strong competence in building relationships and managing senior stakeholders.
• Experience creating supporting media (storyboarding, stakeholder management, review and editing to deliver bespoke content aligned to bid strategy).
• Construction industry experience.
• Enthusiastic, passionate, smart, go-getting and determined professional.
• Ability to foresee issues and apply judgement to make improvements/corrections to plans to address issues before they become problems.
• Proactive, positive and organised.
• Strong attention to detail and error-free delivery.
• Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed timeframes.
• Ability to exercise judgment to solve tactical problems where the answer is not apparent.
• Consistently professional appearance, attitude and approach.

• Demonstrable experience of working with large, complex teams/stakeholders including external consultants

You’ll also have:
• Competence across the Adobe Creative Cloud suite; namely InDesign
• Competence in emerging digital tools (e.g. AI editorial software, video and animation software).
• CIM Level 5 (or equivalent) preferable
• APMP Professional accreditation preferable
