Introduction to Role:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director for our Facilities and Operations Sustainability team based at our Macclesfield campus. This role is pivotal in achieving our Campus goals across decarbonisation and nature. You will be the bridge between the Campus, the EMEA region, and Global SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) functions on sustainability, ensuring improvements align with regional and Global targets.
Accountabilities:
As the Associate Director, you will lead the Macclesfield Campus on Sustainability strategy and deployment. Your role will involve coordinating at Regional and Global level to ensure consistent performance improvement. You will focus on engagement at all levels of Macclesfield Campus to make Sustainability part of BAU. You will also lead on Nature-related targets for the Campus and define goals and techniques for improvement delivery.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Degree level qualification or equivalent experience
Thorough knowledge of sustainability factors in Manufacturing and Science-based activities
Proven leadership experience in a matrix environment, both within the organisation and with external stakeholders
Communication skills and ability to influence others
Comfortable with managing risk and ambiguous situations
Desirable Skills/Experience:
Postgrad professional qualification or accreditation relevant to the role
Experienced in managing projects to deliver engagement and change
