SalaryKey responsibilities will include:
- A key member of the trust Senior Management, with responsibility for the strategic and operational management of the complete range of Facilities Management functions (soft FM) across the organisation;
- The Associate Director of Facilities Management will be responsible for the delivery of a high-quality service, ensuring compliance with statutory and mandatory obligations, and the delivery of professional standards across the department;
- Work in partnership with Directors and Clinical Business Units to ensure that adequate resources exist to ensure the provision of professional, safe and high quality services;
- Be a key contributor to the development and implementation of the trust corporate strategy and will ensure that all relevant policies and national standards are implemented and maintained;
- Lead the soft FM teams and be a key contributor to the senior management team and strategic leadership of the organisation - delivering to targets and implementing continuous improvement in a dynamic, changing environment;
- Ensure that strategic objectives are achieved, and key performance standards are delivered, which reflect the contractual arrangements of the organisation via Service Level Agreements;
The ideal candidate will have:
- Master’s degree or equivalent training and experience in the field of Facilities Management (i.e. Soft FM);
- Membership of appropriate professional body/or at least five years equivalent experience;
- Extensive knowledge of the NHS environment;
- Extensive experience of Soft FM functions at senior manager level including responsibility for the strategic planning, service delivery and budgetary control for a large directorate or service.
