Within GBM, HSBC Market & Securities Services (MSS) works with corporate and institutional clients where we provide a wide range of markets products via our specialist teams.
We are currently seeking a professional to support Equity Trading in our Institutional Sales (IS) business as an Execution Quantitative Associate.
The role holder will also ensure the HSBC values are present in everything they do, both individually and as an organisation. The role is office-based working at HSBC offices at Canada Square, London and will include travel for client meetings. You must be able to work in London on a full-time basis.
In this role you will be expected to:
- Detailed microstructure analysis of EMEA equity market
- Backtest and prototype quantitative Algo models
- Collaborate with other colleagues in the trading environment: quants, traders, sales and IT
- Run quantitative research projects, develop analytics tools and work closely with IT and the business to roll out analytics code into production
- Drive algorithmic developments in relation to targets for revenue generation, product alignment, customer satisfaction and cost management.
