Associate General Manager

The Associate General Managerwill undertake the day-to-day running of productions, leading on a number of General Management tasks on your own with the support of a production manager and working with the General Manager on larger tasks and strategic management. We are looking for someone who has a passion for theatre and excellent communication and administrative skills. You will need to be able to work as part of a team and to progress tasks independently, know how to prioritise your work load and adapt where necessary.

Simon Friend Entertainment is an independent production company producing work for the West End, UK Tours, International Touring and Broadway. Current and upcoming productions include: The multi-award winning Life of Pi (West End, Broadway, Touring), Drop the Dead Donkey (UK Tour), Here You Come Again! (Leeds Playhouse and UK Tour), Paranormal Activity (Leeds Playhouse) and Minority Report (Nottingham Playhouse/Birmingham Rep/Lyric Hammersmith). Recent productions include The Crown Jewels (Garrick Theatre), The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (UK Tour), The Da Vinci Code (National Tour), The Grinch (NBC TV show and UK National Tour), The Height of the Storm (Wyndham's Theatre, West End), The Messiah (Tour and The Other Palace), The Girl on the Train (UK Tour), and a feature lm of Florian Zeller's play The Father.

Permanent, full-time position

Start date: Wednesday 29th May

Salary: £33,000 rising to £35,000 on completion of probationary period

Probationary period: 8 weeks

Notice period: 3 months

Hours: 10am-6pm Monday-Friday in our London office. WFH option on Fridays. Some out of hours and away from office work will be required eg marketing evenings, technical rehearsals, press nights.

Office location: Noel Coward Theatre, St Martin's Lane, WC2N 4AU

Holiday: 21 days per annum pro rata excluding bank holidays. The office is closed for a week over Christmas in lieu of toil throughout the year.
