Associate Lecturer - Barbering

We are currently seeking an Associate Lecturer - Barbering to join The Bedford College Group at our Brooks Campus. As an Associate Lecturer in Barbering you play an important role in the success of our students to: To prepare, deliver, assess and verify on a range of barbering programmes. To support and guide students to achieve success and realise their potential. To manage students’ learning and provide a high-quality learning experience. Ideal candidates will have experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds, alongside the following qualifications: Level 3 qualification in Barbering Willingness to work towards the Certificate in Education qualification English and mathematics or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent or willingness to achieve English and mathematics Level 2 within one year Assessor qualification D32, D33 TAQA 3 Evidence of recent industrial updating Successful candidates must also be able to demonstrate alignment to our organisational VISION values: Valuing Teamwork - We are one team who by working together can achieve great things, respecting the opinion and valuing the contribution each of us makes. What is an Associate?Associates work on a short term basis as assigned. They teach or provide support services and they work with and are supported by core staff. As an Associate you will be issued with an Associate agreement, under this Agreement period you will be eligible to work on assignments offered to you. Typically an agreement runs from January to December and may be renewed thereafter.
