Job summary
It is a very exciting time to join us as we continue on a major digital transformation programme. Our existing software systems form part of the critical national infrastructure, safeguarding land and property ownership valued at GBP7 trillion, enabling over GBP1 trillion worth of personal and commercial lending to be secured against property across England and Wales. You will join our award-winning Transformation and Technology Directorate which is the in-house IT division at the heart of the move to a digital, data-driven organisation with the ambition to provide our customers with cutting-edge digital services.
We are now looking for an Associate Local Systems Administrator (LSA) to join our Transformation and Technology team to help us to achieve this.

Job description
As an Associate Local Systems Administrator (ALSA) you will support the Local Office Local Systems Administrator with the provision of a high quality, customer-focussed IT Support to both office-based and remote-working staff.
You will also support with Incident, Request and Asset Management, IT Equipment moves and other extraneous duties as well as providing additional support for ad-hoc tasks and projects.
This is a great opportunity to develop an IT Support skillset and gain experience and exposure to a mature, large scale, IT operation.
Person specification
To meet the requirements of the role, you will have good knowledge and experience of working in an IT environment.
You must be able to set-up and configure desktop and portable IT equipment such as laptops for use. You will have a good understanding of IT network infrastructure, Microsoft Windows 7/10 and Microsoft 365 (Formerly MS Office 365). You will be able to follow written technical instructions for a variety of tasks.
To be successful in the role, you will be able to communicate with others in a clear, honest and enthusiastic way in order to build trust and take a positive approach to the possibility of change and encourage others to do the same.
Please note, due to the nature of this role there is a minimum requirement of 30 hours a week. The role may also require occasional travel to other HM Land Registry offices, including some over-night stays.
