Overview

Do you want to work on some of Canada’s largest and most recognized iconic brands?  Reporting to the Sr Director this position is accountable for championing the long-term planning of one of the business with a high potential to grow Value-Added Protein Portfolio.

The Associate Marketing Manager –is responsible for ensuring we have long-term strategies and innovation grounded in consumer insights. As a change leader, influencer, and strong brand marketer, you will be responsible for building a strategic vision, setting the agenda, and ensuring strength of our plans to deliver both short-term and long-term results.

Responsibilities
  • Shape the future of Value-Added protein business in Canada.
  • Develop new strategies and opportunities for Value Added Protein long term growth and innovation pipeline ensuring SBP alignment.
  • Lead the strategic planning Value Added Protein that is grounded consumer segmentation.
  • Wire and collaborate with the US & Global Groups to ensure shared learning and strategic alignment for growth maximization.
  • Plan and execute innovation initiatives from concept to launch, including packaging, in-store programs, and selling stories.
  • Track and analyze results to measure the success of initiatives.
  • Collaborate and work closely with Sales Strategy, and Food Service on programming & Innovation.
  • Independently lead cross functional teams to ensure coordination of activities and timely execution of innovation.
  • Maintain strong cross-functional, cross divisional agency relationships.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate/graduate business or marketing degree
  • 5+ years marketing experience
  • Solid execution & strategic thinking skills
  • Strong and effective communication skills
  • Self -starter with ability to work independently -- high sense of urgency and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop & cultivate relationships; build consensus & influence business partners,
  • Excellent multi-tasking, solid execution, project management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to lead and work within team environment.
  • Strong problem solving and sound business judgment; ability to anticipate issues and resolve them.
