The Site Managershould have experience in Heavy civils, deep drainage and RC Works
Site Manager Responsibilities
- Ensure all HSE legislation and site rules are followed
- Site inductions, toolbox talks and training.
- Produce method statements and risk assessments.
- Carry out health, safety & environmental inspections of site works weekly.
- Assess labour and skills required for tasks
- Ensure that timesheets and site hours are accurate and fully completed
- Review specification and drawings.
- Identify requirements and complete subcontract procurement schedule.
- Provide information for subcontract enquiries.
- Sub-contractor RAMS Review including temporary works.
- Complete Temporary Works Design Brief
- Produce Inspection and Test Plan
- Produce internal snagging list & arrange snagging to be carried out
- Arrange client inspection & completion of handover form.
- Update contract programme weekly with project planner, highlighting delays to commercial team. Integrate subcontractor work.
- Ensure daily/weekly briefing and review meetings are carried out,
- Completion of Project Close-Out reports.
- Develop and review regularly method statements and risk assessments.
- Produce Monthly report.
- Update commercial forecast & Identify and provide information to QS for variations & final accounts
- Meet with residents/landowners/stakeholders to agree the method and timing of works.
- Meet with utility companies to agree diversions.
Requirements of the Site Manager
- Heavy civils, deep drainage and RC Work
- CSCS card Manager
- Site Safety Plus - SMSTS certificate
- Temporary Works Coordinator
- First Aid at Work
- Fire Warden
- CPCS Appointed Person (desirable)
- HND/C or BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering or NVQ L4/5 in Construction Site Management
