Applications are invited for the following post: Associate Professor in Addiction Recovery Hours of Work: Part-time (0.5fte) Duration: 3 years We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, collegial, high-performing individual to join our new research centre, The Centre for Addiction Recovery Research (CARR) and help us achieve our strategic ambitions in learning and teaching, research and knowledge transfer and to advance the science and practice of Addiction Recovery and recovery capital. The successful candidate will join the Centre which is situated within the Faculty of Social Sciences and Education, which offers opportunities for innovation in research, teaching, applied practice and which we hope will influence UK and international policy in the area of Addiction Recovery. The role will provide strategic insights and support the Centre and Faculty leadership teams in achieving the University’s ambitious plans for growth and excellent student experience. We welcome applications from candidates with expertise in any area of social sciences although an ability to contribute to research and innovation is important. Applicants should be research-active with a track-record of publications and grants commensurate to their career stage or be able to contribute to knowledge exchange activities and income generation expected at the Associate Professor level. This role will be initially located at Leeds Trinity University campus Horsforth, Leeds, it is expected that you will be based in Leeds city centre from September 2024. Through our agile working framework, there will be the option to spend some time working remotely to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
