Job description
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
- Our growing Real Estate Disputes team is looking for an experienced Associate to join our team in London.
- If you have 2+ years' experience in a similar practice, are technically competent, commercially aware and committed to the growth of the group then we would love to speak to you.
- You will act on a range of high value, high profile and complex litigation cases, particularly in relation to institutional clients and occupiers with extensive commercial property portfolios.
- Whilst not essential, we are also interested in candidates who have some experience of residential disputes.
THE TEAM:
- Our Real Estate Disputes Team (known internally as the RED team) is led by Julie Middlemass and is noted as one of the best teams for property litigation in the country. It is known for its ability to act for high-profile tenants and some of the UK's largest institutional investors on a full range of high value complex matters. The team works on disputes for investors, developers, landlords, tenants and insolvency practitioners.
- The team is one of the largest and strongest, comprising 30 lawyers (including 4 partners) plus paralegals and trainees. The team is based in 3 locations being Leeds, London and Manchester. There is a particular emphasis currently on growing our highly successful London team.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN THIS ROLE:
