JLL is looking for a numerate, confident and capable Associate Director to take an active role within its Central London Development Team.
As part of the market leading West End Investment team, the role will be working on projects such as the 0.5m sq ft redevelopment of the City’s Museum of London and a 250,000 sq ft development at Kings Cross. JLL’s West End Investment Team advised on over £1.5bn of transactions in 2022, a 26.8% market share. The role will suit an energetic, ambitious individual looking to grow their career in a market leading company.
Key Work Streams / Tasks - Assisting a Director or leading on;
Acquisitions and disposalsBrochure writing, viewings/inspections, liaising with clients, agents and other advisors, preparing Heads of Terms and general due diligence
Development Management, Advisory and ConsultancyManage development projects (commercial perspective) alongside PM’s
Report writing with clear strategy recommendations
Presenting to clients
Head lease re-gears
Involvement in development agreements and forward funding
Co-ordinating and managing clients’ professional teams
Financial analysis via;Argus Developer – development appraisals
Argus Cap Val / Circle – cash flow analysis
Excel – appraisals, valuations and marriage value
Requirements
MRICS
Confident and capable of taking primary responsibility for projects with senior clients
Excellent financial and appraisal skills, with experience in development appraisals
Real estate analysis, agency and transaction experience preferred, especially Central London
Experience working for and/or with financial clients.
