REED are seeking a professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA) or experienced Audit and Accounts Manager to join our clients growing Luton office. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Accounts/Audit Partners, managing teams, and nurturing client relationships. This position is ideal for an ambitious and self-motivated individual with a hands-on approach and a desire to progress within the firm.
Day to Day of the role:
Directly support the Accounts/Audit Partners and manage client portfolios.
Supervise and mentor staff members, ensuring professional development and high performance.
Maintain and build strong working relationships with new and existing clients.
Oversee the preparation of accounts and conduct audits, with an initial 80/20 Accounts to Audit split, which is expected to shift towards more audit work over time.
Ensure technical competence and delivery of quality audit and account services.
Prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines and client expectations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA) or equivalent experience in a similar role.
At least 3 years post-qualification practice experience in Audit and Accounts.
Strong supervisory experience and a hands-on approach to client work.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to prioritise time effectively and meet tight deadlines.
Ambitious and self-motivated with a desire for career development.
