Audit Senior (Accountancy Practice)

Location: Chelmsford, Essex

Salary: £40k - £48k + Excellent Benefits

Hybrid working: 3 days office, 2 days remote

The Client:

Our client is a well-established accountancy firm, offering a wide range of accountancy, tax, and business services.

The Role:

As an Audit Senior, you will report to Directors, Associates, Managers, and Client Managers and assist in the firm's marketing efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Utilise relevant technical skills and collaborate within the Audit & Accounts Team.
• Finish tasks independently for handover to the Director or Associate.
• Notify the IT team of arising issues and participate in IT training sessions.
• Fulfil appraisal requirements, attend meetings, and address action point.
• Ensure prompt completion of your timesheet and consistently update your Outlook calendar.
• Mentor junior Team Members on audit and accounts assignments.
• Guarantee completion of CPD records annually.

Requirements:

• Previously worked as an Audit Senior or in a similar role.
• Experience and qualifications in auditing.
• Background working in an accountancy firm.
• Possess ACA / ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant technical skills.
• Skilled in relevant computer applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Right to work in the UK.
