Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Audit and Accounts Senior to manage audit assignments and oversee accounting services for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple assignments efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion
- Conduct risk assessments and develop audit plans
- Review and analyse financial statements and reports
- Prepare statutory accounts in compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior Audit and Accounts staff
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and auditing standards
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Identify and resolve Audit and accounting issues efficiently
- Prepare detailed audit reports and documentation
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive service offering
Skills and Qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Audit and/or accounting
- Proficiency in Audit and accounting software (e.g., CaseWare, Sage, QuickBooks)
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and auditing standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
